PSO2 New Genesis is finally out, just like its predecessor, you can indeed change the PSO2 Meseta squares in the spaceship you choose to play. For those who don't know, the spaceship you choose after logging in to PSO2 New Genesis is like a block as we call it in other games, the block is the most layer of that ship/server. Each ship has multiple blocks that you can join. The reason you want to do this is to find a less crowded or crowded block, or because you have business dealings with specific people in that block. Well, these are two reasons in the original Phantasy Star Online 2, but in New Genesis, there is another reason you want to visit another block. Continue reading below to find out why and how to actually change the block.

How to change blocks in PSO2 New Genesis

Another reason you might want to understand how to change blocks is to access the environment of basic PSO2. These two entries are actually two different games, in order to change between them, you need to utilize the change block mechanism. You can jump between the two games because they coexist in the same environment and client, there is no problem at all, as long as you can use this feature.

Let's get straight to the subject. In order to be able to change the squares, you first need to pass the first 20 minutes or so of the game if you pass things quickly. After completing some trivial tasks, you will need to access the Ryuker device. These are tower terminals, mainly used as transmission beacons across the map. The first one to unlock will wait for you in the central city. You can find it easily because there is a task tracker on it.

By interacting with them, you will be able to choose any available block. If you scroll a bit further, you will find the option to actually visit the central area of ??PSO2 and exit PSO2 New Genesis.

As far as the change block is concerned, this will do the trick. Despite this, the game is still very fresh, and due to server overload, if you try to change blocks, you may end up disconnecting. This is no big deal, because the ship will eventually stabilize.
